Just a little bit about me…I am a kindhearted, fun-loving individual. I got married to my wonderful husband in 2010 and currently reside in Orlando Florida.
As an entrepreneur, together with my husband in 2012 we started two Tech Companies, Inkozi.com and Anyteetimes.com. In that same year I also became a mother of two beautiful children.
What a lot of people don’t know about me is that for years I was bullied at school as a child. And being a child of the 80’s no one ever did anything about it or say anything about it. We just had to deal with it!
My original reason for competing in Mrs. Florida America Pageant was to build my confidence and to meet and make lasting relationships with other woman. But quickly discovered that there was a much bigger reason for me competing. I realized that kids in schools were still being bullied after my 7-year-old daughter told me about an incident with her being bullied at school.
That’s when I decided to use my platform as Mrs. Orlando America 2020 to help our kids.
I am committed to promoting awareness and prevention against bullying and to ensure that our kids have a place of belonging, acceptance and respect for themselves.
I’d love to tell others about my own personal experiences and show them that we truly are capable of INCREDIBLE things – irrespective of our pasts and challenges.
